Course Description
This course teaches the extremely effective (99% in clinical studies) form of Natural Family Planning, the Sympto-Thermal Method. A couple will be able to determine an accurate, detailed day-to-day picture of the woman’s fertility, allowing them to space their children in a safe, healthy, marriage-building way. No drugs or birth control devices are used. The required constant communication between partners that comes from practicing NFP builds a lasting marriage and ultimately stronger, two-parent families. Invaluable information is also taught on the subject of breastfeeding, how to maintain overall good health, and about continuing a loving, courtship atmosphere in a marriage. The moral basis for NFP presented in the classes will provide much greater understanding of Church teaching on the subject of birth control and abortion, both past and present.
